Why is Pilates so good for you when you are expecting?
Your body will change, your posture will change. Pilates will help alleviate some of the aches and pains you can experience from these changes.
Will Pilates help with labour?
We will teach you great positions and activities to do while in labour to help with the process and the delivery. You get to prepare your body for labour. You also get prepared for all the baby lifting you will do.
How will I remember my Pilates?
We have prepared Preggie hand outs for you for your second and third Trimester.
Why can't I come to a normal Pilates class?
You can in your first Trimester but once you progress on you need exercises tailored to your specific pregnant body needs.
How do I join a Preggie Pilates class?
You need to contact us directly (email, text, call) and we will put you on the list. When we have enough people we start a class at a time that suits the participants. Private sessions can happen at anytime that suits.
How much does it usually cost?
The prices are the same as for any other Pilates class or private session.
Do I need to have done Pilates before?
No, we will teach you everything.
Do I need any equipment?
No, we have it all here.
How soon after baby is born can I do Pilates?
You can come back to a beginner class usually by week 4. This will be different if you had a Cesarean or have other body problems.
